A Sweet Escape by Moonstone Hammock!

What better way to spend a weekend than camping with your lovelies at a picturesque location? Moonstone Hammock provided a perfect sweet escape from my monotonous life.

We reached our camp site at Karjat, and were instantaneously mesmerised by the unhindered scenic views. The campers had three types of tents to choose from/ Hanging Tree Tents, Ground Tents and Floating Tents. I had booked the floating tent which was situated right by the lake and offered an amazing view, especially of the sunrise and sunset right from my tent!

Since the theme of the Camp was ‘Kai po Che’, with it being Makar Sankrantri, Moonstone Hammock made sure it stayed true to its theme! All of us eager campers were provided with kites and we engaged in friendly kite battles followed by other activities like badminton, darts etc. Moonstone Hammock ensured each one had something to do as they even had a pile of books for the avid reader and kayaking for all the water babies!

As the beautiful sun set, the place was beautifully lit up with fairy lights and lamps which made the campsite look like a place straight out of a fairy tale book! To complement this and for the perfect end to the night, there was a soothing live band performance along with lip smacking barbecue food! Post this, we all went back to our cozy tents and ended the night with some star gazing.

We started off with the appetisers and we had the Spicy BBQ chicken wings with cheese and chives dip, Mozzarella Cheddar Cheese garlic bread and Masala fries Out of which I found the Spicy BBQ chicken wings with cheese and chives dip, Mozzarella Cheddar Cheese garlic bread a must have it.Coming to the burgers we had Chicktease which was really good and filling.

We tried their Pesto Gusto and the base was of the pesto sauce which is quite different. At first, I was quite sceptical of trying this but it was yummy and really if you are here you should try this.
We even tried the Highway to Goa but I didn’t like it so so much maybe it didn’t suit my taste palate.
You can even be your own pizzologist, by creating your own pizza and choosing your own toppings.
In drinks, I had their house blend lemon ice tea and Caramel cold coffee it was freshly made and really refreshing.

As they always say there is room for dessert, we had the Blueberry Cheesecake and the Flourless Chocolate cake it was just mouthwatering.

SAN:QI

Weekends just got more fun. Let this be just another reason to unwind with your BFF or spend quality time with the special one. Having discovered the perfect spot we thought we’d sort off your weekends too.
Four Season Hotel, Mumbai now brings to you the most desirable drunch weekend where you can drink as much as champagne you like and indulge in some scrumptious food.

We were greeted and hosted very well and there was an extensive choice of appetisers from all four cuisines (Japenese, Chinese Thai and Indian) on the menu, Whoa! And featuring fine champagne, cocktails and refreshing mocktails. And did I forget to mention there was also a section where you could make your own champagne which was really unusual at a brunch!

image23In the appetisers, we had an assorted plate of sushi which was amazing, Punjabi Paneer Tikka , Highway Chicken Tikka which was soo soft and just properly cooked. The Bruschetta was just WOW! There are two salad sections, one is your regular salad section and the one is your Som Tam salad in which you can make your salad. They even had 4 varieties of dumplings.

Coming to the desserts. What a huge choice of desserts on the counter ( from macroons, to cakes and what not) .We had the Berry Pannacotta, Deconstructed Cheesecake, Baked Rabdi and Doke Kheer. All of them were just way too good and couldn’t resist to repeat them again🙈
So if you’re looking to spend some quality time with your loved one this is just the right place as the SAN:QI Chandon Rose brunch every Saturday from 12pm to 3.30 and offers an unlimited flow of champagne, delectable food and some mouthwatering desserts at INR 2500!
The staff is extremely helpful and they are always happy to attend you. That’s what we call a hard to forget drunch!
